Hotel Julia was a fantastic choice for us on a romantic getaway from the UK - our first visit to Rome. The hotel was an ideal, central location for exploring the city, with the Trevi Fountain a slow 10 minutes walk away - we visited 4 times in 3 days! - as well as central for the Colosseum and The Pantheon and an English pub just around the corner!. We did not use any of the other hotel facilities such as meals and bar during our stay so not able to comment on that but found our room to have a comfortable bed, good shower and quiet location, although no great views of the city - just a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful and sorted a taxi to the airport within 5 minutes on our departure. Overall, for a city centre location this was great value for money and ideal for popping in and out of whilst sight-seeing and central for eating out and soaking in the Rome experience - we are looking to take the kids back next time to let them see the delights of the city and will try to book the Hotel Julia as an ideal base. Thanks guys.

You couldn't find a better location, especially for this price. The room was small, but definitely adequate for one person. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. On my last day I overslept and wasn't feeling well. When I went to check out the staff could see I was rattled for having overslept. I was concerned they might charge for the day. Not only did they not, but they they insisted I sit down and got me something to drink. I thought that was extremely kind. Rome is filled with tourists and it can be very stressful working with the public. I thought the staff went above and beyond. I didn't have breakfast; I was in Rome to meet up with friends and we had breakfast together at a fabulous bar right down the street. Great tramezzini.

The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly, helpfull and professional 😊. They truly made me feel warmly welcome to Rome right from the beginning. I arrived during nighttime because of my flight, but I had all the information I needed beforehand and everything went smoothly. The location of the hotel is superb 👍 Everything you need within walkind distance. Good restaurants, places to visit etc. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends who are coming to Rome in September and will myself most certainly return also.

The breakfast was always fresh and many options. Delicious coffee/cappuccino. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We have 2 children who came on the trip. They were treated so well. The location on Lido is sooo good. Ferry close and many food options. I prefered staying on Lido verse other areas. A little quieter and great area near beach. Restaurant Trattoria Andri is a must when there. Make reservations. Room was clean hotel outdated. But always someone around shining something...

Everything. We had to make an emergency trip to Rome from Sicily to get an emergency passport after my husband's was stolen. That's why we stayed only one night. The staff was extremely accommodating; they recommended a restaurant just steps away that was excellent. We were able to visit the Trevi Fountain and have drinks in front of the Parthenon - both in close walking distance to Hotel Julia. This made our very inconvenient trip fun and interesting.
